I don't really care what kind of background it is as long as it isn't too flashy and distracting. Just remember to keep the backgroung simple and somewhat in the same spectra of colours and the text in a contradicting colour, like dark background with light text or vice versa, so it's easy to read. That's the most important thing, never forget that!
